Just the beginning

Welcome to Chalk & Bloom, hopefully the start of something beautiful both figuratively and actually.

We want to build this place for so many reasons, some personal, some professional and some to fulfil dreams we've had or a while. Our flower farm will hopefully tick off lots of the hopes and desires we have on our list as well as restoring the historical walled garden at the family farm. 

We can't lie, it needs some work to bring it back to former glories but thats the great thing about this project it has many benefactors. In recent times the walled garden has been a workhorse producing more than an allotments worth of food. It's around about and acre in size and it's a lot of work to maintain and keep productive.

Chalk & Bloom will be taking over around half of the space to grow cut flowers, intermingling prettiness with the fruit and veggies, blooms amongst the greenhouses. We're dreaming bigger than cut flowers though and the bigger vision is to build a creator space for you to come and immerse yourself in.

We all know influencers and Instgrammers need unique and beautiful backdrops but so do small business professionals, crafts people and families. So we want to turn our humble flower growing patch into a place you can come to capture moments that either boost your business or profile or a lovely memory and keepsake.

And why stop there? The really long term plans have our eyes on hosting pop up events, workshops and partnering with local businesses to bring you to the farm to soak up the floral atmosphere and the heritage of what's been a working farm for generations.

We're are really new to the process but both of us )that's Liz and Ruth the founders) are tenacious and driven and are already running other businesses so what's one more? Jokes aside it means we understand a thing or two about how to deliver an experience like no other and bring a vision to life on a tight timeline.
